Will a lightning blower fit on top of a 99+ mustang engine??
Thanks in advance..

P.S. what would it take to adapt one to a mustang, if not.

It won't fit, because the Lightning's 5.4 has a taller deck height (meaning the cylinder heads are farther apart).

You might be able to find a different lower intake that would adapt the blower to the 4.6.

I don't think you'd want the 5.4 blower anyway because the intake is still on the top of the blower, vs. the rear entry of the Mustang. You'd still need a pretty big hood to clear the blower.

See this link for an idea, a 4.6 with the same intake will probably only be about an inch shorter, if that:

Well there are at least 2, maybe three companies that make Eaton kits for stangs. So why not use one of those instead of trying to create your own.
