Hello folks, I'm curious as to how much pipe do you need to have after a wideband for it to operate properly. I'm running BBK L/T's and want to go open exh at the last race of the year at my local track. One of the guys that I talked to stated that he fried the o2 sensor running open headers. I made a set of 6" long turn downs from an old H-Pipe I had laying around. This will give me about 10" of pipe after the W/B sensor. Any one got first hand knowledge? This is on a carbed 347. Thanks Daniel

I'm using it to tune WOT 95% of the time now anyway. I haven't run the car on open pipes yet. I concerned about toasting the75$ bosch sensor. I may just leave it off and do it the old fashined way..... reading plugs
