TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK.

If your a stick car lift bars will shock the tires hard resulting in spinning, the weight jackers are good for setting the IC on the car and letting the front end help hook the back end.

You will have to leave about 2000 and feather the clutch to get it too hook up and then mash it and don't let up while you shift.

Its not spinning so much as bogging I am going to try a 410 rear that I have it has 373 now and was going to change arms at the same time. Plus I think it needs more timing its at 11 degrees now. I have lots of changes to make the car is new to me.

If its bogging then leave harder or put more air in the tires.

What is your ET and MPH? Timing varies on every car, I run 18* initial timing on my car and 38-40* overall, however I run a mechanical advance distributor where I am carbureted.

Something is defintely wrong with your combo, that should be a mid 11s car easy. Post your entire combo up engine, compression, cam, injectors, wheels & tires.

Cam is a little small, loose those lift bars and get some regular control arms, get some long tube headers in 1 3/4" size, and change to a 4.10 gear. And for goodness sake put some 24lb injectors in that car. Who told you to put 42's?

The 5 speed is hard on the radials as it shocks them too badly to get them to hook, you need some slicks and drive it like you stole it. If your afraid of breaking something then save your money and stay home.

I had an Anderson cam and this is the recomendation for it
347-408 c.i.d. Best performer for 347 cu. in., 1.6 R.R. & 6600 rpm and 10.7 to 11.5 comp. Great with TFS or Edelbrock Victor Jr heads. Minimum 38lb injectors and 80mm mass air. Recommend 4.10 to 4.30 gears, poor drivability under 2300 rpm, lumpy idle, rpm range 2800-6800, needs 3500-4000 converter. Must use AFM valve
springs.

Works great on 6900 rpm 10.5 to 11.5 comp. 302-331 c.i.d. with 4.56 gears and 30lb injectors. Must use AFM valve springs.
