hi guys i am thinking of doing a dart engine the car is a 98% street car 2% track but what size would you go with 331-347-363 what are the pros and cons engine size. My heads are 205 11r and trickflow r intake 90mm t/b non box. 6 speed trans on and on. my goal is a fun street car power wise 600 to 800 at the wheels

It costs the same to build any of the 3, and you'd make better use of a big blower with a bigger motor, so my vote is 363 for sure.

Any of those 3 will make the power you are looking for easily with a YSi. For a 98% street car, I would want longevity and reliability the most. I would lean more toward the 331 or the big bore 347 (which is what I run in my turbo car) for the most friendly rod ratio/reduced engine wear. If your block is not 4.125 already, then go with the 327/331. I ran 9.0s at 150+ all day long driving my car to and from the track with my 331. I had a single 76 mm turbo at 18 psi boost at that point. Good luck with your project...should be a fun machine for sure!

I’d say the bigger the better with that big ysi. More cubes might help the efficiency of that big guy. That being said, my buddy ran a YSI on a 306 and went 8.56, so.

My money is he’ll get a wild hair up his ass and end up with a 408W. I think the 331 will be a good choice just by bore/stoke but a 363 just is badass.

363. No reason to go smaller.
