Conventional or synthetic? What weight? Should you run more quart wise since there is a turbo involved and if so how much more?

i was seeing 24-26psi at hot idle before the turbo now i'm seeing 19-20. i added 3/4 of a quart since the turbo install and it came back in line pre-turbo.

Any reason to not run synthetic? I'm planning on Mobil 1 10w30 synthetic...I can't think of reason why not but there were a lot of things that popped up during the turbo project that I didn't think of either...

I run rotella 10-30w conventional...Syntheic to me will find every leak your motor has and why use an oil to escape under alot of pressure when boosting...thats me tho...

conventional Rotella 15-40w. I run a 8 quart pan.

Valvoline VR1 racing 20-50 conventional...6 qt's in a 7qt pan. Change it after every 2-3 trips to the track to be safe...cheap insurance.
