I'm gonna paint my calipers tonight while i'm changing out my springs, what kind of paint do i want to use? I know it needs to be that hi-temp stuff, but are there any good brands to use? I know paint is paint, but i'd like some brands to chose from.

thanks

I used performance red 1200 Degree paint. It worked out really wheel.

I sprayed down with brake cleaner and painted them and took a dremel tool and clean the Cobra up.

I got the paint for NAPA and don't remember which brand sorry. It was about 9.00 a can and I only used one.

Don`t forget the Clear hi temp for the final clear coat. Makes the calipers look like they`re powder coated. Layer the coats on after several hours drying time between.:D

I used Plasti Kote Brake Caliper Paint from Pep Boys 5.99 a can came in yellow, blue , red. They had clear coat but clear coat yellows since they do not put UV protectant in it so I didnt want it to change colors and it is is easy to spray another coat on once a year to restore the shiny racing red finish
