I got some springs I cut down on another car to get the stance a bit more to my taste, and the fronts slightly clunk going over big dips. The springs I have aren't coilovers, but the stock type coil springs like found on Fox Mustangs.

I remember there was a thread here about some kind of helper spring that keeps the shorter main springs in contact with the spring perches, so that you don't have the spring running into the perches during bumps, or dips.

I just can't remember what they were called. [I want to buy a set, but unless I can find out what these springs are called I can't even do a search].

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thanks.

Seriously, if you google "coilover helper springs" you'll find what you're looking for, I'm not typing for my health. And yes, their proper name is tender springs.
