Are the TFS High Ports Canted valves? If so, those seem to be the best for the average budget racer.

I was running Canfield 192s on my 427 and have just switched to AFR 225s. No numbers with the new heads yet, but with the Canfields, the car went [email protected] with 4.10 gears and [email protected] with 3.73 gears. That was at 3000 lbs.

All those heads will work good on a big inch stroker.

Yates heads are not canted valve. They are a 'twisted wedge' type configuration.

There's a thread in the 'cleveland forum' where a guy has some dyno numbers on a 427 with CHI heads. I think it was in the 800 horsepower range.

a C-3 or B-2 canted aluminum head from back in the mid 1980's era.....
next would be a brodix-neal head.
