Did you notice any difference in 60ft changing springs-what struts are you running ? Does it bounce a lot over bumps with 130's on the street. I ran 4cyl front's and 90/10 lakewoods for years with no issues and not sure how that would compare
Unfortunately I do not have any back to back 60ft data. The 130s are OK on the street as far as a street/strip goes. I didnt notice any difference from the 150s. Coil overs are great for adjust-ability but nothing compares to a stock style eibach drag launch spring in terms of weight transfer.
Converting a former track car into a drag car. looking for some info on what a good spring rate would be. The car currently has a MM torque arm & rear coilovers with a super stiff spring. Race weight is around 3000lbs.
Hi guys, i made a few changes to my car this winter. Im mainly wondering if the spool i swapped to is going to help my 60ft times. Best 60 i had before was a 1.71(on a stock rear with solid bushings and 3.73s)
Swapped to a spool(same 3.73 gear)
Ford big ends
35 spline axles
Team z full brace...
Just bought my 1982 gt. I was given time slips showing 10.90’s in the quarter. But I am going to race and hit cruise nights. Problem is it has headers to flow master 40‘s that dump before rear axle. So cop attracting loud. Don’t want to choke it so was going to go with flow master 3 inch tail...
Just wanted to see what folks are running for a rear gear on their cars. I currently have 3.31, but will most likely be changing those out next year. I'd like to hear what type of HP your putting down and 1/4 mile times with your gears if you know your race weight that's helpful too...
1978 Ford fairmont 2 door, 8.8 rear,3.73 gears, frame is tied. Gutted interior. Battery in trunk. 95 5.0 ho, all stock with rpm intake 650 Holley and long tubes. C6 transmission😑😑 but something I already have. 3000 stall, reverse manual VB. Do you think I can get in the 12.99 or better?
