Those are some crazy trap speeds!! What kind of HP/TQ are you putting down? Suspension work and slicks are next if you want to get it to the ground. From those traps, you should have enough power for 9s no problem.

Cool! That's haulin' for a 3600# car! Video looked good, too. Wonder what it'd do if it hooked from start to finish?

car makes about 740 hp 730 tq. It has coil overs on all corners with lakewood 50/50 and 70/30. Tubular front suspension, mm hd lowers and metco adj uppers. I think that i might need to change to the 94-04 lakewood 70/30, i run the 87-93 becaues they are shorter and my car is lowered a ton. Im starting to think that the car is maxing out on lift and not planting enough weight on the back.

With the amount of power and torque you're making, I'd suggest going to 90/10s and an anti-roll bar. What spring rates and length are you running (front/rear)? If the track you go to is prepped pretty well, you may be fine on DRs, but slicks would be your best bet. My old '03 Cobra went 10.50 @ 132 off a 1.53 60'. I was running the stock Eaton with the first port that came out, and 100 wet shot(~575whp/wtq). My suspension was similar to yours, but I had QA1 coilover shocks/struts with 14" 175lb springs up front, and the stock k-member/a-arms. I also had all spherical bearing mounts in the rear suspension. All I was missing was an anti-roll bar, and I feel that would've helped me greatly. My car had 10.30s in it before I sold it.

Wow! Definetly traction issues at launch. I got the same problem.

Still playing with my ride hights ..... etc.

Easiest way to see how fast you can go would be slicks and an auto.

I wanted to put on my 325 mt dr and skinnies but i was up all night helicoiling the one spark plug hole. I want to stay away from 90/10 due to i drive it on the street 95% of the time. Ill have to find the receipt for the coil overs and see the rates and lengths. I went 10.17 with the same suspension on et drags when it had the paxton on it. I really don't wanna go auto at all but in the end i might. I was thinking about trying to use 2 seperate two steps, one to launch then one to allow me to stay wot when shifting and to help hold boost up. I am also going to switch to .48 ar housings.

Impressive! Get some 90/10's Its not that much different from what you have now.

Looks to me like you might need to get some more weight off the nose of the car, possibly put a softer spring in the back and front? It is unloading the back tires right after the launch.

Nice runs.
If its a street car, why isn't anybody saying adjustable struts?
Tokico drag adjustables on the lowest is between a 70/30-90/10 and on highest is just stiffer than stock. Or the 10 way adj. Strange struts are nice as well. I've had both, with the Stranges now as its more drag.

I actually still have my old set with like 6-7k miles on them, but I'm 99% sure my brother wants them. I can ask and let you know, but either way I really liked them (I only really used the full stiff on the street and full loose at the track, but it was an excellent range for me).
I saw the vid after I posted, looked/sounded great. Who does your tuning?
