I am putting 15x8 welds on the rear of my 94. Do i run a 5.5" backspace like the fox cars or 4.5"?

I don't want any srubing on the wheel lip with 26x10 slicks.

let me know what you guys that have them run. Thanks

Sorry to but in, i dont know the correct backspacing, but how much does a set of 26x10 E/T slicks and 15x8 wheels cost at say Summit or Jegs? Just trying to figure out how much it would cost to get slicks for my car.

I run a 15 x 9 with 5.5 inches of backspacing.. Along with a 275 /50/15.. They fit real nice. It looks like a 6 inch backspacing would have fit.. I tried a friends welds that were 15 x 8 with 4.5 inches backspacing and they stuck out to far.. He had little narrow tires and they were flush with the outside of the wheel well..

On the 94-95's.......the 8" wide wheel with 5.5" BS looks really good. If you decide to go with a 10" wide wheel, I would use a 6.5" BS. That should keep the top of the tire pretty close to flush with the fender. Personally, I do not like them them to stick out past the fender.........starts to look like rice. Hope that helps!!
