Just as I solved another dilemma, I go and wash the engine. I did it like I always have, so that's why I can't figure it out. I didn't use really high water pressure, but I really saturated things. What usually goes bad when it gets wet? I have a large fan on top of the engine right now hopefully drying things out, but what do I have to check and dry?

I'll bet that if you give it a chance to dry off you'll be alright, many of times I've washed cars that way and in a couple of instances the car ran like crap until it dried out.

Thanks. But why'd the check engine light go on? That never happened before. I was messing with the EEC Tuner just before I washed the thing, and had some problems with a couple of files. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Pull the codes and see what they are posting. The check engine light could have come on because one of the sensors could be wet and the EEC doesn't like what it sees. Water and electronics don't go together very well, good luck
