Still contemplating what to do here. Car is done and made 14psi on the dyno with the light spring in my hallman manual boost controller. With no adjustment (only wastegate spring and shims) it made 12psi. Turned the MBC up all the way and made 17psi. I just switched to the stiiffer spring and it would not make more than 15psi turned all the way up. I am looking for a boost controller that with allow me to have a set psi of 15 for the street and 20 for the track. Will the AMS 500 do this? Or should I keep my MBC and call Hallman and ask why the stiffer spring would not allow more boost. What gives? The wastegate I am using is the Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate from my Hellion Kit. Engine Management is a PMS. Any input is appreciated.
