In the process of installing a power cooler on my 89 Fox with a V3 and I have a few questions.

Where and how did you mount the heat exchanger?

I have the standard Bosch bypass, but I wouldn't mind replacing it with a BOV, seems like it would be simple and clean. I'm only running 8-9lbs of boost, is there any reason I shouldn't add a BOV?

Which BOV do you recommend?

Thanks, Ian

You need a recirculating bypass if you're running a mass air, has to be a closed system. Its never a bad decision, just not all that critical at low boost levels (anything under 12 lbs), when throttle body closes it simply allows the boost pressure to dissipate in charge pipe instead of forcing it back directly against the impeller. I would recommend a vortech mondo but only if you increase boost levels.
