Good evening corral.

Give me feedback on dyno numbers that were made today on a 95 mustang, they seem low to me.

408whp @4800 434wtq @4300 100 degree OAT. Cool engine, it was a one hit wonder

timing was conservative and fuel was .78ish

Low. My old set up, 306 t-trim, no timing, meth injection, through a TKO made 565rwhp 14lbs of boost.

why did you not turn it past 4800?

with e-85, I would think you could lean it out a little more? Is .78 what it liked?

Small heads for a 351 which could be the reason it peaked at only 4800 RPM. My 94GT had those GT40X heads on my stock bottom 302 and my N/A numbers were way low compared to the same cars with AFR or TFS heads.

An F cam is an odd choice for 94-95 car. I slapped a Vortech S-Trim on mine and the car made great power but still lower than the blown AFR and TFS headed cars.

Later when I switched to a 347 Stroker with AFR 185 heads, custom Comp Cam I went with a 1-3/4" Long Tube with 3" collector and full MAC 3" system all the way back.

The car was much faster N/A than with the blower and those GT40X heads.

I bet a custom cam, a Edelbrock Victor 351 Intake, 1-3/4" Long Tubes and full 3" exhaust could see 500's alone. Not sure what MAF you have either.

My very 1st vortech set up with a 5 speed had x heads, performer intake, b cam, 36lb. Injectors, fmu and a btm. Aiming for 21 degrees total timing with the btm it almost made 460 to the wheels with an off the scale rich air fuel. Ran high 11 at 123ish. No power shifting and sportsman pro tired.

My next combo was x heads again, gt40 intake with a ported lower, 42’s and 21 degrees total via sct chip. Through an aod it only made 375, but it ran [email protected]

Your timing is conservative, like Al says, but one thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is your tranny. Especially if the converter's not locked on the dyno pull AND peaking at only 4,800 rpm, you're going to be seeing a lot of slip. I can see as much as 30% slip on the dyno with my glide. An AODE locked up will still pull far more power than a stick.
