Would it be reasonable to assume that using this on a n/a engine would help extend engine life by bumping octane and keeping intake temps down?

I used to run one on my old Boss 302 engine way back in the 80's.

The compression ratio was around 12:8 so the water injection made it easier to run on the street without blowing expensive/rare Boss 302 head gaskets.
