Went to regular wednesday night program for some test passes. DA was 2810. This intake is seriously making me rethink putting my cobra back on!!

Hey Brian! Matt put in my .430s a few weeks ago. He said you moved down south. I put the holley on for some testing while my cobra is having more surgery. The holley turned out to be a lot of prep work, but this thing is really growing on me! Good to hear from you.

Those gains are impressive. My wife and I both found jobs in North Carolina. I hope to get into grad school next year at North Carolina State. Ive got most the parts for a turbo kit ready to go for my car. just need injectors and some time. Im waiting to see what my car will do with the C4 on motor and nitrous before I put the turbo on.

That Holley SMII seems to be fitting that 306 just right. Look for some easy high 10's with improved D/A. How much MPH are you picking up from the eighth to the quarter?

Be sure to post up the results with the C4. I have a feeling you're going to miss nrp. Is there a good track close to you?

Joe, It went 97.57 at the eighth mile, so it's picking up 23.76 from the eighth to the quarter. I hope you're right about the DA, cause I'm running out of tracktime! I think there's only two more wednesdays left for the season. It's good to hear from you, and I don't need to tell you where the inspiration came from to try this intake..........

Might want to mess with changing your shift points a little. 23.7 mph back half is a tad low, but the intake swap does show some promise for sure.

Ive only been to the one, and I watched cars smoke the tires down the track and kick sideways. I guess the track recently changed hands and they are trying to improve it so we'll see. I think the next nearest tracks are an hour or so and I havent seen them. They did just build a new track at Lowe's motor speedway and its looks awesome. It is 3 hrs away though.

Perhaps he is utilizing the power available in an efficient manner in the first half of the track and locking in the e.t. so to say and does not need 25-27 gain in mph in the backhalf. Or maybe the converter is not locking 100%.

I use Frank Lupo's dynamic converters. www.dynamicconverters.com or 1 302 454 9203 Ask for Sean or Frank.

I'm not saying its a bad thing and I'm sure Mark knows me better than that. I'm just making an opinionated observation based on my own data. The lower back half, in my opinion, might be due to a higher percentage of converter slippage. I have an 8" converter 5800rpm stall, I haven't gotten a detailed result on converter slippage but mine is about 5-6% and my car back halfs 24.5-26 mph.

Mark's car is working great I will say that!

PM me about cost, I don't want to put Lenny's prices out in public. That's his business not mine.

Those N-91's seem to pick up 26-27 on the back half. Some manual trans. versions anyway.
