Will the 4 bolt wheels fit on a Turbo coupe bird , from a Mustang, not sure if they had the same size , if so what are the off sets of the Ford stock wheels , like the SVO stang . Thanks for any replys , DW
If your Turbo Coupe is an 87-88 the wheel offset is different than a Mustang (read deeper). Turbo Coupes of that era have rear disc brakes and longer front control arms, pushing the wheel flange out 3/4 of an inch. Mustange wheels will bolt up, but expect the front wheels to sit a little outside the fender, and rears may rub against the fender lip (depending on the tire size). The offset is similar to a 93 Cobra.
Thanks for the reply , was going to try to get a set from a stang , but looks like that may not work , unless I find some that are 7in. wide . may have mine powder coated to restore them , any idea on what a wheel cost to have done ?? Thanks, DW
