YOUR HELP,THOUGHTS, ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

just nearing the end on my turbo build on my 99 5 speed 2v but im already wanting to to swap out the trans for an auto.a bunch of people have been telling me that with an auto and turbo is the way to go?
so i started looking for an 4r70w but cant seem to find anything that i really want,so i came across this great deal on an AODE with 37k the whole auto setup for dirt cheap but i have read that they dont handle a lot of power, which leads me into my next questions.lol
will an AODE with a better valve body handle 400-600hp? not to sure how much hp i will be pushing when the install is done.this trans that i found is outta 94-95 gt will it fit and what needs to be done?
last question how much hp do you think i will be at with running 10 lbs boost and here are my other mods
tf intake
373
anderson f3 cams
pulleys
just worried about the lower half since its all stock, dont wanna see anything break.car has 50k

I would try to avoid a AOD. Can you afford a built 4r70w? With the torque that turbo is going to bring, you really need something somewhat stout.
As far as how much power you will make, first get rid of the Anderson cam and put the stocker back in it. The stock cam has gotten me into the low 10s with a stock 302. And your gonna have to get rid of those 3.73s, something more like a set of used 3.31s out of a s197 will be perfect. You can find them dirt cheap. Put a big fuel pump in it, 42lb injectors with matching MAF and the car should go low low 11s easy.

Yea 3.73 is never going to let the car come on top of the turbo correctly..... Turbo and blower cars are totally different in this aspect... You want up keep a turbo car under a solid load down the track.... If the motor doesn't have a load on it the whole pass the car will never seem right.... We have used 2.73 rear in a manual turbo car will great results and we have gone mid 10s with a 3.27 gear in a stock motor turbo fox body.... The same car went 11.4s with 3.73

Depends on so many things.... When we switched the stock motor car to manual valve body c4 we probably tried 5 different rear gears before we were happy.... 3.55 did work alot better then the 3.73 but we didn't have enough power to use a 3.08 gear so went a little taller.... This was in a all options gt so the car was very heavy..... Had everything but the smog pump haha..... If we had been using a lx notch we probably would have benefited more from the 3.08 gear.... We were stuck between keeping in the power and street ability..... The 3.08 with a 3speed is awesome for highway capability the 3.27 wasn't that bad..... Car did have a shift kitted aod in it for a limited time..... Hard to say if it would have ever worked with good power because at that point we were kinda fresh to turbo v8s haha.... I come from the 9.xxx honda world

A AOD out of 94-95 is a Windsor bell housing . You need a 4r70 for a good base. But for a light power level and a manual trans turbo cars are still fun to drive. But the auto is the way to go if you plan on drag racing a lot .

Cant really afford one and I came across that aode with 37k for dirt cheap plus it had a bunch of extras that I would need for my swap. What would have to be done to make this trans work for my car, different bell housing?

My advice to you for cheap and reliable is a c4 with a manual body.... Handle good power levels.... Easy to fix yourself if brakes and any/all parts available.... A aod or aode is a power stealer! Car will never be a over achiever with a aod.... I hear great things About street cars with 4r70w but I have no personal experience with them
