Are there any other springs that work with the MM torque arm? The springs I opted for(MM-MM43TA7) dropped the car way too low for my taste
and now, I am wanting to raise up the rear.

Coilovers or adjustable height control arms. I have had both and should have just went straight to coilovers. What front springs and setup are you running?

I have some H&R 3/2001 51650 RTA3 (350-390#) springs for sale. I think these used to be sold by MM as a softer rear option for torque arm cars with soft front springs. Height would probably be similar to what you have now but at $80 shipped, they are a cheap option to try.

I have height adjustable rear control arms and will be switching to a coil-over spring style in the stock location to make swapping springs cheaper. You should probably just save the money you are going to spring on new springs and instead throw it towards new rear lower control arms with height adjusters.

I might as well just go with coilovers.

What shocks and struts do you have and what is the purpose of the car? Why do you already have a torque arm if you have stock front springs?

1. Whatever stock shocks the car had and 4 cylinder front springs that are still in the car.
2. Eventual purpose is for the street and occaisional track events.
3. I wanted a torque arm, so I got it. I dont want to do the k-member just yet so i need a temporary set up to cruise in and do hood rat stuff :grin2:

If you haven't already, a short term solution would be to add poly isos to both ends of the springs. Those generally raise static height .25"+. I've even stacked poly and rubber to get the heights even on both sides.

Yeah, I'm going to do that soon but it will still be nice to rise it up a bit more than that.

Welp, i just read that you could use coilovers in the front using your stock arms and k member. I suppose I'll be going that route, i wonder where I read that was a no no.

I had MM coil-overs on the front of my '88 with stock K, stock control arms, and '95 spindles with no issues. Car wasn't "raced", but it was driven hard for the last couple years. Just now upgrading to MM K and LCA's.

Those are great for drag racing but would suck for road racing. You need to dump those for some better springs for the road courses if that is the intent.
