I suspect there are several members running a Vortech and have also scrapped the smog pump.
Please post up pictures of your belt arrangement(s).

Thanks in advance.

A lot of it will depend on what accessories you have retained. Way back in the day when I had a Vortech, I only had p/s, water and crank pulleys. I used a turn buckle on one side of the alternator and the other side hooked into the frame rail. Used it to tighten the belt as well as ditch the smog pump.

You'll need a smogpump Eliminator bracket . The reason is U need some where for the "Alternator Stay" to attach/bolt to... If and when U purchase the bracket make sure it's for a supercharger. The standard smog pump eliminator bracket(Incls Fords)doesn't have the threaded hole to accommodate the alternator stay(J bracket).

Just get a smog pump eliminator pulley and use the Vortech brackets. AC/PS and everything will fit and you can use the normal OEM serpentine tensioner.
