They were not even very good at stealing the car .
Fell off the truck 3 times ,
Seems that the truck they were using is not your average tow truck .

Sorry for your loss .

Actually I ended up finding out the tow truck info from a San Antonio tow truck page someone knew the truck. Wasn't till 11pm Wednesday night I found the info out on the tow truck. But I got the address sent a buddy who lived near by and said the truck was there. So I head over there and called the cops who were being complete dicks about it. Accused us of jumping the gate and checking out the truck and whatnot. But they ended up calling the owner who then said truck was stolen Tuesday at 2am. And at 8:22 am is when they showed up at my house. Well I thought I'd never catch them now. Well on the way home after dropping off one of my buddies I got a call from a friend he said some girl had information about everything. I call her up she said I'm your Nextdoor neighbor (everyone I know around my neighborhood don't like them) and the tow truck used was stolen. I said how do you know she answered my parents own the tow truck and dealership and her dad reported tow truck stolen and he found his own truck on the side of the highway a day later. I just hung up all pissed off cause I know who took my car now. Well not sure what I can do from here besides kick in the door to the house. Cops aren't doing #### about it. No cop has contacted me about the videos i have or finger prints.

Detectives don't give a #### about your stolen car. We had my wife's car stolen right out of our garage in broad daylight when I was sitting in the kitchen 15 feet away. One city's police stop-sticked it a couple days later but the thieves made it over the state line and bailed on it before the other state's cops could show up. When we picked it up from the tow lot, it was full of identifying stuff including letters from baby daddy in prison to one of the thieves home address. We had video from the gas station where they tried to use our credit card, we had video from the casino where they went after they ditched the car, we had a ####ing name and a home address. I found the house. I could direct the cops there.

They didn't lift a finger. It was almost like they were asking us to take it into our own hands, and believe me, the temptation to do it was almost too much.

Years later, my son, who was about 6 at the time of the theft and saw it happen from across the street, asked me why I didn't go and take justice myself. I said, I have too much to lose. They're ####-birds, leading ####-bird lives, and I guarantee they still are. Wherever they are, they're ####-birds. They'll always be ####-birds. We're not. And if I took it in my own hands, I'd risk turning our lives into ####-bird status. So I let it go.

Doesn't make it any easier to swallow. I hope you get your car back.

i personally think thieves should be shot, hung, and then sent back in time to the russian front, stalingrad in fact, wearing a nazi uniform, with "i am a gay jew" embroidered on the back and sleeves in bright pink.

This sounds like what happened to one of my coworkers at a previous employer. He had then brand new F150 stolen when he left the door open with the keys in it a gas station. He was maybe 15 feet away tossing out some trash, and some ####bird jumped in it and took off. The KCMO cops pulled it over about 2 weeks later with some meth head chick driving. It turns out they didn't even charge her, and they never went after the thieves (meth head gave the cops their names). His insurance picked up the tab to fix the minor damage and to get the pot/BO smell out of it.

I have had the same discussion with my son about thieves and other associated scum before that MFE has. And if you take the law into your own hands, you'll be the one making big rock into small rocks.

I heard on the radio yesterday morning some guy said he was kid napped with his car so the police and actually put an effort finding his car. I should of done this ha. But yeah detectives haven't done a thing. I'm looking for a new car with no money. My wife was gonna start using the car for work while I use her truck since her parking lot is tight. Oh well looks like I'll be dropping over off. Sucks to see lots of money get taken away like that. I always thought I needed gps on my car and never got it. I regret that decision every day since my car has been gone.
