I am thinking about swapping from a T-64 to a T-66 or 67 turbo on my kit but I plan on keeping the .81 exhaust. Will the new turbo need anychanges to the flange it bolts to? Also will I need to change the flange on my wastegate if I go from a 38 to a 42 mm wastegate? This is on my 04 GT.

I am just thinking of doing this at the moment not dead set on it yet.....

your wastegate shouldn't be an issue, but requires new flange to go bigger.

you have a t4 flange. new turbo will need to be the same. can be on center or tang style. what do you have?

what are you trying to do to your car and what is done? what kit?, etc...

I am just trying to set it up that when I come home from my next deployment I will just be able to build my forged motor and turn the wick up on my turbo and make around 500rwhp. I already have plans for the fuel system and already have the clutch so the turbo will be the power adder of choice and a small shot of spray to get me out of the hole a little better.
