Hey guys friend just installed his on3 turbo and stock front sway bar hitting the pipe going to intercooler on3 guy told him to put a 4cyl sway bar on any info on this ??? Would that fix the problem? Or guys got any other things he can do??? And if the 4cyl works all same as in a conv or a regular lx same thanks

remove the swaybar. this is racing. you dont need it. :)

It all depends on how high/low you mount the IC. Mount the IC too high in the front bumper cover and the turbo discharge to IC will hit the sway bar. You can remove the 180 deg pipe from the driver side of IC and shorten it an inch or so on the side that connects to the IC and your turbo to IC discharge pipe will move up allowing more room to clear the sway bar. Make sure that you have the car off the jack stands and on the ground before measuring and cutting anything.

ic mounting has alot to do with it, but it was designed around stock cars. if the car is lowered, more then likely you will need different lenght sway bar end links. i have had to do this several times with large sway bars on lowered cars with lx noses.. just sayin. the new forward facing mod motor kits do the same thing.
