Hi, I was a master tech for 25 years. Now I’m working on my own hot rod. Have not done much with non stock supercharger stuff and have some questions.

For this build I will be using an 04 mustang cobra intake, cooler, with the Eaton d112 supercharger , and heat exchanger.

Do people usually run a temp gauge set up on their supercharger cooling system? If so, how does the temp run when compared to the engine cooling system temp?

It’s the water pump for the supercharger usually temp controlled or on any time the vehicle is on/running?

Is there any benefits to running a "turbo timer" type set up on your water pump for your supercharger that keeps the pump and fans running for a period of time after the engine shuts off?

I appreciate any/all thoughts or suggestions you might have!

Eric..

Pump on with key on. Never used a temp sensor on heat exchanger coolant. As long as your IAT’s are looking normal there shouldnt be anything to worry about.
