Heres my setup:
15x10x6.5 weld draglites
26x10.5x15 ET Streets bias ply
usually end up around 10.5 to 11 psi in tires

I am getting allot of wear on the outside and inside edges from the edge of the tire to about 3" in from there. The middle of the tires have most of the grooves left.

Could it be underinflation? Too small a tire on that rim? They dont seem to hook very well unless I drop them below 11.5 pounds.

Someone point me in the right direction here please.

I guess I should have explained, these are only track passes, they do not get run on the street at all.

You don't have enough tire pressure. Therefore, the tire is cupping in the center and not wearing. You have also minimized your foot print. If you were to do a burnout on the street you would see two thin lines for each rear tire.
You need more tire pressure and do a longer burnout. James

i agree.

underinflation is just as bad as running with regular 35 pounds for the street,

if you over inflate you will have a darker black line in the middle and it would fade out to the edges.

you need to find the happy medium of pressure where your getting a flat foot print and still get good traction.
