I am almost ready to pull the trigger and wanted to get some opinions. Thinking of getting rid of my motor and blower and building a nitrous motor. It will be a Dart 363 or a Dart 434 with Afr 205's on the 363 or Victor's on the 434 . If I keep the Fuel injected supercharger set up it would be a 363 dart with a SI vortech on it and my current Victor jr's.
It is that I just see stangs running in the 5.50 range with one kit on them and blower guys having big expensive superchargers to get the same results. My question is what combo would you go with to go 5.50 in the 1/8 or 8.90 1/4 time.:drool:

434, Victor headed, nitrous motor. A good plate kit or fogger will get you the times you want. Back it up with a glide and let it eat!:salute:

A buddy of mine ran a victor headed 333ci motor a few years ago and went 5.70's on a 250 shot in the 1/8 @ 127mph, 3200lbs

very cool this is exactly what I am looking for thank you . Anyone else have any input

Or go to a turbo or just put nitrous on what you have now if the block and rotating assembly will hold
from what I have seen the turbo guys have to work harder to run 5.50 in the 1/8 . BTW if I go turbo the class only allows a 72mm :livid:

what are your goals? class oriented?

buddy had an 11:1 427 with dart pro1 225(superior to the afr IMO). glide. 2-300 fogger... 8.9's all day.

i have, 434, high ports, 3200 lbs, plate. been [email protected] on 26x8.5's. (still learning. just 26 passes on car.

I didnt know you were running a class I had a friend that had a 347 carbed with a fogger ran 5.60 with high ports with a dart block if they allow foggers if that helps
