I'm installing a SPAL Fan and it says the orange wire should go to ignition. Where is the best place under the hood to hook this up? Do I need to splice into something or is there something I can directly hook it too? Thanks for the help.
I tapped into the 12v wire on the coolant level sensor. Depending on what year you have, it will or will not have an actual sensor in the overflow cap but the wiring and plug will be tucked up behind the drivers headlight somewhere. 3 wire plug and you're looking for the red with yellow stripe.
For future reference for anyone that finds this in the search function, the plug originates from the harness that runs under the battery tray, right between the headlight and tray. It took me forever to find this! It was wedged between a splash shield and the under-side of the frame rail. I only found it after tear-down.
