Hey guys,

please show me proven combos, power wise, track times and how much rpm are you spinning the motor with pulley setup and fuel system type. for a 351w Vortech S-trim setup. Thank you in advance.

An S-trim is only good for what 650hp?

So less than 600 at the wheels?

Why not step up to a bigger unit? Like a t-trim?

Because I bought the S-trim already and rather use it, unless someone is looking to down grade and I can upgrade and cover the difference I am game for that.

I know your looking for windsor setups but here his my dart 331 setup with an s trim. Made 570's hp and 550's tq on a mustang dyno and did one pass so far an ran a [email protected] letting off early and hitting the brakes before the traps. Shift points around 6200 rpm. Should be able to hit high 9's with this setup with a full pass. This is a full weight 92 lx hatchback weekend street cruiser I drive it around all the time. These little s trims are fun and get the job done.

Dart shp block
-Eagle 331 rotating assembly, steel crank, h-beam rods
-AFR 165cc heads with comp cam spring kit upgrade
-1.6 roller rockers
-Tfs upper and lower track heat intake
-Comp cam .580int. .588exh. @.50 236int 248exh
-1 3/4" longtubes, 3 inch exhaust, 10 series flowmasters dumped at the rear axle
-Vortech older v2 s-trim w/powerpipe making 12-13lbs with a 3.15" upper and 8" lower crank pulley
-Vortech after cooler setup
-Coan TH400 tranny with 3500 stall
-Built 8.8 with strange 33 spline axles, 3:73 gear, spool and c clip eliminators, girdle cover.
-aeromotive dual phantom in the tank fuel system running on pump e85
-holley efi ecm

How do you like that vortech after cooler? worth the investment?

My setup is as follows;

1. 70's 351w .30 over
2. 69w football rods with arp bolts
3. Dss Forged flat top pistons with valve reliefs
4. Similar comp cam spec HR
5. Comp Link bar roller lifters
6. Comp magnum 1.6 roller rockers 7/16th stud mounted
7. 54cc Old school Canfield 192 high port heads
8. Edelbrock EFI lower intake
9. Sheet metal elbow with a 90mm throttle body
10. Compression is around 10.5:1

I have the V-1 S-trim, waiting to bolt it up, 3.33 upper, 8 inch lower crank pulley, 8 rib setup with all the power pipes you can buy for it.

I am searching for a after cooler if it is worth it. Show pics of your setup.

The aftercooler works great! Keeps the Temps down and never have any issues with things getting hot. I bought my aftercooler kit brand new off of someone for a good deal, the $2,100+ price tag is a Lil ridiculous. If I were u i would find a used kit in good shape, I think there is one for sale on here too.

I was able to do 575rwhp at one point with meth and it was before I upgraded to the Si on my 347.

Currently I sit at 550 with around 10.5-11psi peak boost with an Si. I still have around 4,000rpm left of impeller speed for more umph if I want. You can easily break 600 with a good setup and an S or Si trim.

I made 611rwhp on a 351w. It had Tf170's with a 2.95upper and 7"lower at 6k it made 12psi. It was in e85 too.

I know Eddie switched over to turbo now, but I’m still interested in combo’s and/or times.

I’ll be SBE 351w, AFR185’s, TFS R Intake, 60# injectors, F303 cam, shorty headers thru a TR3550
