As the title implies, Im wondering if I should bandsaw slits in my solid header flanges to make separate flanges for each cylinder. I have read that thermal expansion could cause broken header studs if using a solid flange... What are ya'lls experience with this idea? I have thick half inch flanges if it makes a difference. Thanks.

My header flanges are all one piece. Been on for over a year now. No issues.
