For those who missed it over the weekend:

X-pipes have enjoyed an immense popularity in the Mustang aftermarket due to their distinct sound and claimed power advantage over the traditional H-pipe. FORD has already produced a Mustang with a factory X-pipe (2000 Cobra R), so should FORD continue this trend in future regular production Mustangs?

Only if it costs less, which I doubt. Everyone is going to replace it either way. It's not going to make it sell better.

Especially with the 4.6L engine.
I used to drive my dad's 5.0 Mustang with Flows and an H-pipe, now I drive a 98 Mustang with Flows and an H-pipe, and I can barely hear a difference. The 4.6 does sound very similar to the 5.0 with the right exhaust setup.
