My project is to install an LSX with T56 in my new 2012 V6 Mustang. The big issue is maintaining the shifter position in the stock location. The Tremec trans for the LS is about 9" shorter than the Ford version in shifter location. Has anyone done this swap or have any ideas what the solution is? Jon Kaase had D&D (Mich.) do a trans for his BOSS Mustang build. That may be my last attempt to save this project. Car is awesome. 50-50 weight bias, 11.7" 4 wheel disc brakes, 8.8 rear and 3400lbs. Automatic trans is NOT an option. Thanks all.
