Helm publication has what you needHey guys, I have a 2000 mustang that's becoming a dedicated track car. I'm trying to figure out if it's safe to completely remove the GEM. I can't even find a wiring diagram/pinout for it. Any info would be great.
you have to pay money for oneThanks for the replies. I want to have as little excess wiring as possible but I'm not ready to rewire the whole car. I'll be doing that eventually once this engine blows up (however long that takes).
I've been looking for a pdf version of the Haynes manual/etc so I can easily search for what I need, but I can't find one. But has anyone actually heard of problems when completely removing the GEM? Pats is already disabled so I'm not concerned about that.
Can you confirm if this is the correct manual? https://www.diyrepairmanuals.com/product/2000-ford-mustang-wiring-diagrams-manual/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwxN_XBRCFARIsAIufy1aRhOCYUM6Mp1ts7APq7MriLMnx605JlaeQ4pqTvcq1TyHd_fUDjhkaAvgSEALw_wcByou have to pay money for one
