one:

on buffhomers site, it says i need 25 ft of 1/0 cable. well i just went outside and measured and i got a max of like 16 feet.

second:

how does thing Taylor box go together? im guessing the two long poles go tghrough the trunk and thats what holds the box down. but what about the black piece? and how do i get the hose that i guess vents out the box to stay on? there are no screws for it.

Because of a few twists and turns you have to make in routing the battery cable, It will probably be more that 16 feet. and most places that sell 1/0 cable will sell 20 or 25 feet cheaper than they will sell 16 feet. Besides, it's always better to have a little extra than not enough. On my battery relocation, I used a bolt and nut in each corner of the box in addition to the two hold down rods.
I don't know what you are refering to about the "black piece" I used the Summit box, and used my own wire. The vent tube that is supplied is way to small to be effective. You will need at least a 3/8" vent, and preferabley 1/2"

Get 25 feet. I have a coupe and did this and just had enough. I used the 1/0 for the ground also though. The red thing is the battery hold down. It slides down over the treaded studs and than you put a washer and nut on. Since you have a coupe, here are a few extra things: The best place to get the ground through is the gas tank filler gasket. From there it is very easy to ground to the quad shock bolt. The vent tube will also go through there as well. Id also recommend that you put a nut on the top of the treaded stud also. That helps keep the box in place and also allows you to take the battery out and not have to worry about the post falling through the floor.

Oh, the vent tube has alittle fittling that screws into the box. I didnt care for it, so I just routed mine in the box and put a zip tie on it so it wouldnt pull out.

Here's a pic of the install. The vent tube is the smaller one:

Mine's behind it also.
Feel free to pm me with any questions you might have seeing as though I just recently did all this. Also, what are you using for an alternator? My stock alt. was only putting out 12.5v with the relocation, so I had to upgrade to a 160 amp 3g.[

I got 25ft and used it for the battery (+) to switch, and switch to solenoid cabling. I think I had like 2ft left over, so, better to have too much than not enough.

There should be a little white plastic (2-piece) barbed fitting for the vent tube. It fits into a hole in the side of the box and has a little plastic nut to secure it. Push on your vent tube and there you go. I lost the blasted little nut thingy so I just wrapped some black tape around the vent tube about 20 times and then pulled it so it snugged into the little hole in the box. Stays put and is sealed that way.

One thing, when you put the hold down bar across the battery and then put the nuts to hold it down...double nut it. Mine came loose one time at the track....needless to say the last thing you wanna see when you're wheels up is a shower of sparks behind your seat, ROFL.

One last thing, before you bolt the box down, be sure you can get the battery in and out of the box. I had mine bolted in and then realized I couldn't get the battery in the box. I felt like a dumb ass.
