I pressed both bearings in to the 2.300” as the directions said. When I pressed the wedding ring on I accidentally pressed 1 bearing on a little too far. My 2.300” shrunk to 2.225” on one axle. Anyone know if this will cause a problem? I don’t see any way to press it back to 2.300” without destroying everything. Hopefully it will be fine.

Are the back sides of the wheel studs hitting the bearings?
I had that issue and once i had everything bolted together I was able to use a slide hammer to pull the axle back out for the needed clearance.

Ohh good idea on the slide hammer. I’ve still got plants of clearance between the bearings and studs. Did you put many miles on them, any leaks?

I have about 1000k miles on this set and maybe twice that on my last set on another car. No leaks from either.

You are only .075 off. That's hardly noticeable and not worth risking damaging a bearing trying to move it as long as nothing rubs. I would try it as it is because you are likely to have bearing damage or tightness problems by pulling the bearing out.
