just curious-
when you guys are comparing times with someone here or in person ,do you tell the actual time at the track that day or the corrected to sea level etc. time?????

I always use the actual times that the car ran. I have never compared corrected times with anyone. The way I see it is if you use "corrected times" it's no different than the guy that goes "Well the car should run....."

Just my 2 cents.

Timeslip says it all. Of course, luckily I'm at sea level, just have to deal with humidity and density altitude down here.

I also state the time on the slip. Now if the slip also indicates the elevation (or estimated elevation) I might throw that in. But for the most part, just say what the slip reads.

If your running in 100 degree heat at 5000' elevation, I would never indicate a corrected time, but would let the person know the track conditions it ran in.
