This is a weird question. Do any of you do anything special to protect your car from your wife/kids/mother in law when its parked in the garage? I keep mine parked 3" off the walls so there's plenty of room to avoid it. I also have a cover but it's not cushioned or anything. I don't daily drive the mustang and often come home to find that my MIL has taken my son for a walk and parked his trike/wagon/stroller either really close or up against the mustang. It's not an intentional thing. She just doesn't pay attention. It's not a show car or anything but it's in good shape (and it's black) and I just don't want to have to deal with scratches and dents. Thoughts? Thicker cover? Rope it off? Drink beer and relax?

My 3 year old knows to stay away from "daddy's mustang cobra". That said, she is never in the garage without me. She has her own mustang to work on so she keeps her hands and tools off mine.
