I haven't seen alot of documentation online about the On3 TT Foxbody kit so I thought I would start a thread. This will be just for the turbo kit and not necessarily the whole car build. I really like the whole set up On3 has as I was never a fan of running the dump pipes over the headers like other kits. On3 actually suggested not buying the kit as they had fitment issues, wrong flanges on wastegates and so on. I decided to take the risk as every turbo kit I've had needed something.

Set up:
93 Cobra
331 Dart block
Eagle crank and rods
Probe pistons
AFR 205 heads
small turbo cam
TH400
Upgraded to twin 76's.

QA1 K member and arms
Strange struts and coil overs

Placeholder for issues

Placeholder for issues:

1. Header bolts are too long
2. Header to turbo bolts too short
3. No intercooler brackets, I guess they never sold any for a Foxbody
4. Air filters won't fit with large radiator and fans
5. DS header interferes with FL-1A oil filter, not sure if a 90 degree elbow will resolve the issue

Headers seem to fit

Headers seem to fit, overall quality is to be expected with On3. I did take a straight edge to the flanges and I could see light towards the center of the flange. Might have to do a clean up pass before final install.







Air filters won't fit with a large 3 core, I don't even have the fans installed yet.

air filters look troublesome. What's the downpipe situation look like?

Air filters look like a design fail. You will have to fabricate some inlet tubes to move them to a more suitable location. Down low out front looks like a water vacuum waiting to happen. I'd have to get them up into the fenders where they would be protected from water splash.

Look forward to seeing how much power they make.

Yea, a .96 a/r is a bit large for the cubes. Are their 76mm units available with the .68?

you could try the mushroom style air filter if you want something to clamp directly to the turbo
Air filters that small (small surface area) would make me nervous. I've seen large conical filters starting to collapse on relatively mild power levels.

Update:

DS air filter seems to fit but I'll need to find a solution for the lower rad hose.
PS air filter is just a little short, I'm thinking of finding a thinner radiator for clearance and maybe run one fan since Michigan weather is pretty tame but could affect True street events.



I'm truly amazed on the down pipe fitment as I don't see any issues so far. I need to send the exhaust housings back to exchange for .68 as I forgot to spec out when the order was placed. This will give me time to focus on the cold side and mounting the intercooler.

Dang man, you have me here thinking about twins instead of my single for my 351
If you look at the header to frame clearance on the PS there's no way it would work on a 351. Going up and wider would make it impossible.

Those turbos look like they sit very low. Will they gravity feed return oil, or is there a scavenge pump needed?

Can you elbow those filters up 90° to give you room for something bigger?
I think so but I'm going to try to make it simple as possible.

Scavenge pump, they provide a tank, pump and all the lines for the kit. You have to fab your own pump bracket though.
