Any idea what more (street friendly) intake would be like besides that victor. Like a cobra or track heat? I wonder if you'd see 8-10 lbs closer to 3k? Any ideas out there gents?

I'm sure the mid range torque would be much higher and the hp would nose over sooner. Mine will spool to whatever I set the boost controller to by 3k. For me too much torque is already a problem. I am changing from 3.73 gears to 3.27's and swapping the T56 for a built c4.

No, Im a member of corral asking a question. This guy^? And if u read alot of dyno graphs on intake comparisons you would know that the power does come on in diff RPM ranges. Also I used street as a term to describe a type of intake. Never implied it was hard to drive on the street.

Fmyth- I didn't even notice u were running the victor also, I was looking at the other combo. Seems your curves are some what similar.

It's a fair question. If you are talking about an NA car or a Centri SC car then yes you may like running a longer runner intake like a Cobra or an Exploder for a street car. If you have a turbo it does'nt make a whole lot of difference. Even at 4.6 psi the torque is sufficient to overwhelm the drag radials in first, second or third gear by 3,500 rpms.

I have or have had the Explorer, the Cobra, Performer, Systemax and the Victor EFI on my cars and cant tell much of a difference on the street with the turbo.

You can make enough power with any EFI intake and a turbo to break your block.
