-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the camshaft gear (secondary camshaft sprocket) that powers the small chain runs between the two cams on each head.

I need the small little key circled, thats it. I will reward anyone who can even point me to where I can get a replacement. I will buy one from anyome who has one (at a good price).

Help!

Ford doesn't have it or know where to get one. It sounds like most people have a gear with the key machined in. I'm going to try and locate a pair of those.

I really wanted to get everything going this weekend, hopefully I can get something by next weekend.

Get some key stock and just make it. It's a button key for the cam gear. Some builders don't use them, they just torque the cams in place with no keys. I've seen many mod motors from Ford without them. I always put them in for safety. They have to be made corretly or they won't fit in the cams. The 99+ Cobra sprockets have the keys make into them.

Hope that helps.
