Yep it is a On-3 Jap turbo...& I discovered a light coating of oil on the cold side...nothing major but....anyone else see this? No big deal so far & the drain seems ok but wondering if anyone else has had a Jap-3 turbo fail yet?

You too huh? Mine has only 600 miles on it. Here's the responses I got to my question.

I was going to replace it but Chris at PowerAdder said to clean it up and run it about 100 miles or so and see if it has built up again. If so, then its definitely time to look for a replacement. This on3 kit has been the most expensive route I could have chosen!!!

Mine has about 25 passes on it @ 10-12 PSI & a 5/8 drain I guess I will clean it & see what happens???
I can get a MP for about 5-600....might go that route with some warranty...Not even going to inquire about this one!!

Oil in mine too, pouring out past the seals. Had to fabricate an oil restrictor, never saw anything about that in the directions....

Do you have a high volume oil pump? Just wondering bc I asked on3 if I should put an oil restrictor on it and they said don't worry about it unless you have a hv oil pump. Maybe I should reconsider

I run a -3 N2O line instead of the long one that came with the kit...So I don't think I need a restrictor..???
Also I noticed the turbo got quite abit louder recently too but shaft endplay hasn't changed that much if any so I guess I will wait for it to pile up!! LOL
