i'm in a group of 5.0 AOD bracket racers. all of our cars are stock. will removing (& leaving off) the spout connector & setting the total timing (at idle) at 26* improve consistency? will detonation be a problem ? we all run premium gas, my car currently runs well @14* initial timing. seems some supercharged cars run well with spout out & timing pulled as boost increases. we r not looking 4 more power , just improved consistency, seems like this could work by not allowing the computer to change the timing.
