Building a turbo car and using a 5spd. To compensate for low or no boost off the line, and between gear changes, would it work alright to run nitrous? Say a 50hp shot. Is it possible to have the system wired to run (spray) only at wot, but also have a boost pressure switch to disarm the system (shut spray off) at a desired boost level? The car is an 89 GT, 306 DSS, 9.0 compression, AFR 185s, TFS stage1 cam, ported systemax intake, 75mm TB, 55# injectors, pmas blow through maf, tremec 3550, 3.27 gear, #2,900 with me in it.

I never ran it this way but when I first bought my car it was setup with a 75HP shot. The previous owner said he ran it that way no problem. It was setup with WOT switch, but not any kind of boost reference switch to shut off at a predetermined boost level.

I removed all the NOS stuff because I didn't want the added complication of having to tune and maintain two power adders.
