Went to the track on Sat. Had an awesome time and the "getting more seat time" thing is starting to work.
1st pass 13.314 at 102.97 with a 1.898 60'
2nd pass 13.208 at 102.40 with a 1.796 60'
3rd pass 13.129 at 102.98 with a 1.774 60'
final pass 13.122 at 104.17 with a 1.805 60'

I have a '66 mustang around 3000 lbs. with me in it on 26/8.0/15 hoosier slicks with 4.10's and a toploader 4 speed. Engine specs in my sig... I'm super happy with my times.... I think its time for the little blue bottle thats been waiting in the garage.:)

I'd say a few more passes and you're a 12 sec. machine. LOL. Picked up every run, pretty cool. My buddy has a 65 stang, been working on for about two years. It has 347 with F1R procharger. I love seeing the old iron at the track. Gotta love being at the track, good job.

I know what you mean. The stock shifter in the '96 felt like a short throw compared to the top loader w/Hurst in the '66.
Nice et's/mph. The best the '66 ran with the all stock hipo (289/271) with 4.30's was a 13.97 and the best mph was 100.4.
