well once i crashed the 79 the driveline went into the 89 coupe that i built. In the 79 the combo went a best of 10.47 @ 127.89 with a 1.50 60' NA and a 9.244 @ 143.44 with a 1.30 60' on the 150 pills.

keep in mind this is a motor built for nitrous and i didnt expect it to run that well NA in the first place.

i got a new converter for it once i put it in the 89. the converter stalled the same but was more efficient according to the data logger. it slowed down in the 60' to a 1.58 thought, but ran a 10.41 @ 130.73. WOW nice gain in mph right???

i wanted the converter tighter so on the bottle it would run the way i want it to. so i took it out and sent it back. when i got it back it was right where i wanted it NA. 4000rpm. i took it to the local track on a hot august day and it ran a 10.56 @ 129.85 with a 1.54 60'. not bad when the density alt was 4200ft.

Fast forward to last saturday. density alt was 2282 ft and the track was excellent. fisrt pass off the trailer and the thing did a wheelie NA... i was like wtf ,it has never done that, to myself going down the track. did my thing driving and this is what the time slip said.

60' ... 1.444
330' ... 4.200
1/8 ... 6.522
mph ... 105.52
1000 .. 8.549
1/4 ... 10.274
mph ... 130.37

I was pumped!! i cant believe this thing went 10.20's NA!!!! to bad im changing combos now.

here is a pic from the launch.

Our combos must be very similar as I've run almost the exact #'s you have with a N20 conv.I've been leaving at about 2000rpm foot braking w/1.44 60ft.Are you foot braking?I hope to use the fogger in a couple of weeks. What are you changing to?

i leave off the tranny brake.

i always wonder what it would run with a nice NA cam and a looser converter.

my plan is a turbo in the range of 88mm+
