I have a B&G turbo kit and for years I've always had exhaust manifold leaks. I'm curious to know how thick you guys are applying your copper silicone and if your letting it cure over night before starting it?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, because I'm fed up with my headers. I've tried two sets of remflex gaskets, I've tried arp studs and there on brand new afr 205 heads. I just recently had both header flanges sanded on a belt sander at a machine shop and both flanges are flat.

Ive wondering if the exhaust ports on my heads are too oddly shape compared to the small 1"5/8 B&G headers?

Copper RTV. Don't be shy with it. And yes, let it cure for at least 24 hours before starting. I let mine cure for ... a few weeks while everything was finished lol. No issues on the headers, but the crossover is leaking where it connects to the turbo with the vband clamp. Good luck so far with the copper rtv
