I have stock flywheel just resurfaced, new King Cobra clutch, T-45 with new shift fork and 3-4 syncros. Running a Triax shifter. I am having grinding issues with 4th gear only. If I shift hard into 4th it grinds but goes in gear evertime, if I shift soft, it will pop out of 4th gear if I dont make sure its in gear. I adjusted the triax shifter 2 different times tonight and still no luck? Are my syncros or shift fork toast again? I do not power shift this trans.

My next questions is I need the best cost effective way to get this fixed meaning upgrade. I am thinking of going with a Tremec 3550? Only need new bellhousing, crossmember, and driveshaft? Is this correct? The yoke on the stock driveshaft will work just need to have it shortened if I stay with the stock one?

Adding... we think it might be the blocking ring? not sure it was replaced when the 3-4 syncro was replaced. any opinions on this?
