28 x 10.5 x 15

would standard or stiff sidewall work better on my 3100# notch?

Stiffer the better. Also run tubes. Everyone is finding out how radials are faster than slicks now days.

I noticed you mention radials being faster in another post. Clear up which ones you are talking about. An ET drag Radial or an ET street radial. If it's the ET drag radial, then the shortest one they offer is 29.5", too big for my car.

275/60/15 mt's are 28" tall

Yeah, I know, that's an ET "STREET" radial, not an ET "Drag" radial, there is a difference.

This past weekend John Kolivas won Super Street Outlaw on 275/60/15 MT ET Street Radials in record time (both for SSO and 275/60/15 drag radials) against John Urist who was on 28x10.5 slicks. Kolivas ran a 7.32 @ 193 with a 1.2 60 ft. Article here.
