This is somewhat correct, the Standard MMR Annihilator kit will produce gains of up to 15HP without a tune, the MMR Annihilator kit w/High flow tube does require a tune for peak horsepower (up to 36 HP) but will only make about 18HP without a tune and the A/F ratio is leaner than we generally would like to see so for the complete kit with high flow tube we recommend the the MMR/SCT tuner.

It depends on many factors, including compression ratio and bolt ons but we usually work to maintain a High 12 low 13 to 1 ratio for optimum power and reliability, of course this is only on a N/A application.
