I am in the process of installing Maximum Motorsports front coilovers and have run into a snag. After (finally) getting everything disassembled, I noticed that one of my Koni struts has an upper flange like the Tokico's. I am assuming that this needs to be removed as shown in the instructions, but I wanted to make sure before I did something I shouldn't. Has anyone run into this situation before?
Are you sure it doesn't specify in the MM instructions? I would contact MM themselves, they have awesome customer service and should get back to you by tomorrow.
Thanks for the reply's. I was able to get the flange off with a dremel tool and a hammer. Got the project finished today and everything's good.
